Registration for Summer Reading has officially begun! Register now!
We log our Summer Reading with Beanstack, an award-winning digital platform.
With Beanstack you can:
- Log books by scanning the ISBN on your phone
- Log reading for multiple readers at a time (time-saver!)
- Log multiple books at a time
- Earn raffle tickets by logging books, completing activities and earning badges
- Enter to win some really great grand prizes!

Important Information:
- Every participant must have a library card to register. If your PINES library card does not have “Cherokee Regional Library” listed on the front, you will need to come to your local branch to get a free replacement before you can sign-up for Beanstack
- Don’t have a library card? If you are a student enrolled at Walker County, Dade County or Chickamauga City Schools, you may already have a PLAY card.
- Summer Reading is for all ages. (We’re looking at you adults!) So help us get the whole community reading this summer!
- You do not have to attend any programs to participate
We want you to read and use the library this summer! Make sure to check out our exciting line-up of educational and entertaining programs this summer for all ages! From Science shows to Magicians, Folk Dancing to Mini House creation, Escape Rooms, Author Visits…there is something for every age and every interest available at your hometown library this summer. So come to the library, get inspired, and get reading!
